Peligro Life was founded by Adam Peligro, an Adventure Biologist who lives life to the extreme. Adam began his journey in Australia on a ferry to the Great Barrier Reef when he spotted a sea krait (a type of sea snake) and realized that chasing snakes was how he wanted to spend the rest of his life. Throughout the years of reptile prowling across multiple states and countries, Adam began taking photos of his epic adventures and the animals he found. Now Adam has multiple YouTube videos of his adventures with venomous snakes, mischievous mammals, underwater exploration, local cultures, and extreme sports in nature.
The origins of Peligro. On the remote desert island of Espiritu Santo in Mexico, Adam was teaching field ecology to a group of local high schoolers when he was asked the question “What is your full name?” Without missing a beat, Adam went for the dad joke and replied “Adam Peligro Martell.” Peligro is Spanish for danger. Little did he know his last name was too hard to pronounce in Spanish and he would soon have the nickname Adam Peligro follow him throughout his “dangerous” adventures across the globe.
